Kylie praises mum

Kylie Minogue has revealed how her mother helped her cope in the battle against cancer.
The pop rocket, who is preparing for her return to the global stage after overcoming breast cancer, has been speaking about the support she received from her family.
Kylie, who appeared on-stage at the Scissor Sisters show in London's Trafalgar Square on Saturday to introduce the group, begins her rescheduled "Showgirl" tour in November.
Speaking to a UK tabloid, Kylie praised the efforts of her mother, commenting: "My relationship with my parents has always been very close.
"My mother has always been more like a friend to me. But when I was diagnosed, it was like they needed to be my mother and father again, not my friends.
"It was as if I was a little girl to them again. I was so lucky to have my mum with me in Paris throughout my treatment. I don't know how I would have got through it without her."
Speaking about her upcoming live dates, Kylie said: "My energy's coming back now. I am so revved up. I can't wait to get back to my day job."
"Thank you all so much for your loyalty and make sure and have your dancing shoes ready for the concerts," she told her fans.
The "Showgirl" tour begins again in Sydney, Australia in November, before moving onto the UK.
Meanwhile, a new TV show entitled "Me And My Breasts" is scheduled to be broadcast on ITV2 this autumn.
The show concerns the rise in breast cancer awareness, in the months since Kylie was diagnosed, while also delving into territories such as breast enlargement, reduction, bikinis and bras.
