Poor animals!!!

In the last few days i have seen Two cats on the road that had been hit by car and a little Kangaroo! The Kangaroo would have only been about a year old. :(

People do stuff like that around here a lot. I mean come on, it only takes a few seconds to slow down so they can pass. I've seen people swerve to hit cats on purpose. :(

Funny you bring this up. Rich pissed his boss off yesterday. Tracy asked Rich if he had seen the dead dog along GA 400 which is a major commuting road into Atlanta. Rich said he hadn't and he was glad he hadn't. Rich said he slows down for worms and butterflies. Tracy said that it's nature's way and these animals just weren't meant to live. Rich replied that he's all for the circle of life but no one told these animals to be aware of a half ton pick up truck coming at them at 75 MPH.

Tracy's response - "I can't talk to you when you're like this".

Three times now Rich and I have stopped to help turtles across the road. And that takes more than a minute.
