Are your pets strictly indoor pets, or do you allow them to go outside on their own?

They stay indoors. I just don't want to deal with fleas or anything else they could pick up and give to the others.

my kitties are strictly indoor. Doesn't stop the flea problem though as my aunt's annoying jack russell is in and out the back door quite frequently.
Though, we did just find out that the cats don't mind baths...odd.

We have a big garden here so Baileys wanders around between the house and the garden whenever she feels like it.

All five cats are strictly indoors. All are fixed and declawed on the front paws so they wouldn't survive very long outside. We do take the king cat, Todd, outside with a collar and a leash, though. He's content to lay on the porch when we sit out there.

our cat goes in and out when she wants though sometimes I lock up completely and she has to stay out, now that winter is coming and we dont leave the window open once she goes out she'll have to stay out till someone lets her in.
Our dog is mostly indoors she can go out into our garden but not much on her own cause she keeps chewing through the wire on the gates and going out on the road

Our cats are strictly indoors. When I was younger, we had dogs and GinGin was indoors, but went outside, too. The other dogs were outdoor dogs and stayed in the garage.

:( I feel bad now. Mine are all outside animals. They used to be inside untill the cats started pooping in the house and we ended up having 6 dogs.

My dog's are indoor dogs. They are never outside unattended. Daisy is just 4 months old & eats everything in sight. I have to make sure to watch her every move outside. Once they are a little older and we get our back yard fenced I will let them outside when I am home and able to keep an eye on them. But I would always have the door open so that they could come in as they please.

we have a dog and it is both goes outside on chain when we are not home or have company cause she gets too excited and when we leave the house she always tears things up or gets on my bed... so she stays outside when we arent home other than that usually inside!

indoor and i can't let them out by themselves b/c they are small and a big bird could probably steal them

Casper (with my parents) is both though if she could, she'd stay inside all the time LOL

our dogs are all inside, but go out to do their business, and our cat is strictly inside because his front claws are removed.

Ours are intended to be strictly indoor (we have three cats) but all three like to sneak out at any given opportunity (there are too many with 4 kids in the house who sometimes don't watch for the sneaky kitties). They go out less and less but I would infinitely prefer they didin't get out at all!
