daughter to continue with wildlife show Monday September 11, 11:35 AM By WENN

The widow of tragic Crocodile Hunter star Steve Irwin has granted their daughter permission to follow in her late father's footsteps.

Conservationist Terri Irwin wants eight-year-old Bindi to star in her own wildlife series, as her dad wanted.

Steve Irwin was filming a news spot for Bindi's new TV show when he was fatally wounded by a stingray's barb last Monday.

And mum Terri is determined Bindi will still pursue her own wildlife career.

Mary Rayner, general manager of the Australian Reptile Park in New South Wales, says, "Bindi will walk in her father's shoes. Steve was just about to bring his daughter down here to start filming."

I'm glad her mother is still letting her do it.

Hmmmmm, I feel differently about that. I wouldn't put a child in a dangerous situation like that.

I wouldn't personally myself. But that is how they have brought her up. She already dose shows at her zoo. They have brought her up, Just like Steve. If they stopped her doing it now, she would have nothing left.

Although I don't agree with what they are doing, I do agree with letting her go on with it. But like Lisa said, she knows, has been doing this all her life and to take it away would be like loosing her father all over again. Once IMO is enough! :(
