I wasn't sure where to post this so I thought this would be the best place for it.

I don't know anything about sheets.

I ordered a set of sheets with my airmiles. They are 100% Egyption Cotton. Says its a 310 Thread Count Sateen. Is that good???? I thought that they were really high end sheets, but I washed them last night and when we got into bed it felt really scratchy. Is that normal?

Anyways, what is a good thread count for sheets? What should I look for when I buy a sheet set again?

The higher the thread count, the better the sheets. I usually will get 200 count sheets so 310 is great. Don't know why they feel scratchy, though. Next time with sheets, get something over 200 thread count. And don't even ask why I know this.
