I got my first visa card in Canada today!

Ok I am extremely excited about this b/c I have a) been approved for a visa card despite I have only been in the country since the end of May! and b) it means I am building up my credit history so I will be able to buy a house!

I have too many credit cards. I ended up owing a lot of money... but have them all paid off now! Now they are all sitting in ice in my freezer.

I really liked using my debit card when I was there. I bought 2 hockey tickets for 20 bucks and only 16 something came out of my Ohio account. Also bought $120 worth of groceries once when I was there and it took out about $90 from my account. Gotta LOVE that money exchange thing....lol.

LOL Yanno, I never had a credit card til I was 35. Got them all the
time in the mail and stuff, but I never activated one all those years!
