My dog died. Well she isn't really my dog, but I am the reason my Grandparents had her. I wasn't ready to say this before, but now I want too and tell you the story of how she came to be in our family.
It was Christmas. At least 15 or more years ago. Actually it was a few days after. We where all at my Grandparents for Christmas. And out the back window, up the snow covered yard, was this little puff ball freezing in the snow. My Uncle went out to investigate. Saw it was a puppy and came back to report. So all the grandchildren trooped out to see "him" And Awe she was SO cute!! But no. It was someones and we had to leave her. Tears. So later that afternoon I headed out with my Grandma to go to the store and get somethings. Well when we returned, the dog had moved from the back yard, to the front and was huddling under the drier vent trying to keep warm. Me Awe she is cold and scared. Grandma. Jesus Christ I guess I better go get some puppy food ;)) And they have a dog. We have no idea where she came from (we think she was planted there, for my grandparents, but no one has ever admitted that) but "he" was named Max and taken to the vet (only to discover that she is a girl and renamed Maxi) and given the clean bill of health and a long and happy life of living with my Grandparents, who loved her very much.
Maxi could no longer travel. My Grandparents had to come over here (for Drs) so they left her at the vets (they kennel there too) and well she was there, she fell and couldn't get up or move again. So she was put down yesterday :( My Grandparents are very upset, and now they are without their dog :(
Bye Bye Maxi, I hope that you have a good couch in doggie heaven to watch over Grandma and Grandpa.
