I live in a part of Canada where smoking pot is something that alot of people do, and its concidered fairly acceptable. Now, most of the friends that I've had that smoke alot of pot, are too flakey. I try to find friends that don't smoke alot of pot, who are loyal, and understanding. Too any of my good friends are all artists aswell.

For me it is a mixture of the above.
In the last 6 years I have really 'weeded' through my friends. Some of my friends were really toxic and would always just bring me down.

A friend has to be honest (but in a positive way)
... can't do drugs (I have way too many friends who so way too many drugs)
... and can't be too clingy. I need my own space. My best friends are the ones that I don't necessarily see every day. But when I do see them it is special. I hate it when people make you feel guilty for not seeing them on a daily basis. I AM WAY TOO BUSY!!!
