I think we're going to be sleeping in our basement

tonight! The wind from this tropical storm is brutal right now. One tree has already broken and fallen on the garage. But it's a free standing one so the house is fine. We butt right up to a reforestation area so there are some pretty big trees out there swaying back and forth. I'd hate for one to crash right through the kids bedrooms.

Me too. But we have insurance on the house if any damage were to happen. My concern is keeping the kids safe if it gets worse.
