Because I'm far too lazy atm to look it up, I'm hoping someone that uses outlook on a regular basis can help me.... At work we have way too many emails saved, and I want to get them out of hotmail, and onto a cd or the hard drive, Can i just use outlook to upload them to the computer and then save them forever without eating up my email usage space?

you mean you want to "download" them onto your computer...Uploading is putting on the internet or sending to someone (sorry i dont wanna sound know-it-all just explaining)
You cant put hotmail email on outlook express unless you have a paid hotmail account :( you used to be allowed to but they dont let you anymore...
Maybe you could make a folder in your hotmail for saved emails and save them in there? Hotmail has lots of space these days dont they?
You could get a gmail account. Gmail is the best! you can use outlook express for free to download, but theres not really any need to because of the archive function and the search function
I currently have around 10,000 emails (mostly from a listserv) in my gmail account, they are all in the archive.. Searching for the email is so easy you just type in a search box..
