Volunteers

Anyone ever volunteered somewhere? Do you still? Would you like to?

I volunteered at a hospital as a candy striper, a waitress for a marching band function, a crisis counselor, and I think that might be it. I don't volunteer anymore unless you count my current unpaid internship as volunteering.

I'd be okay with volunteering now. Actually when I get my counseling degree I plan on doing some pro bono work to take some money off of my loans. But even when that's finished I'll probably continue to do that.

umm i volunteered to put the online babyshower together if that helps! I plan to volunteer for support to griefing parents or parents who are using hospice care for a diying child but i havent been able to get myself to that point and i think i will wait till my bab"ies" are little older so i can leave them and not bring them...

I volunteered for Folk Fest, The Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation, The Regional Zoological Society, The Local RCC Thrift store, Parks and Rec. I was a Volunteer Librarian Assistant at a School Library, Helped special needs children as a student assistant. I know i did more, but I can't remember whatelse

I was a candy striper at a hospital when I was a teenager and also volunteered for certain functions at work. Other than that, I really don't remember.

I have done soooo much volunteering and I do love it. I havent however done any volunteering since the end of last year, so I have been quite a bit slack of late. Once I get my butt organised I am hoping to do one of those big sister type programs or working with homeless teenagers :)

I "volunteer" at the local governments office. I dont like it, they never have any work for me to do but it will look good on my resume and i neeeda find a proper job

ive done volunteer work at the smith family (charity) and one summer i went and volunteerd at the childcare centlre, i LOVED that, they musta thought i was nuts for doing it but i loved it
