After months of intense media speculation, US funnyman Eddie Murphy has finally confirmed his romance with British singer Melanie B. The silver screen veteran has reportedly been dating the former Spice Girl for over three months, but until now he has remained studiously tight-lipped about the relationship.

The renowned comic made his revelations during a business meeting in Beverly Hills. "I am madly in love with Mel," he said, "but there are no wedding plans."

Eddie divorced his wife Nicole, with whom he has five children, in April this year. His new girlfriend meanwhile has a seven-year-old daughter, Phoenix Chi, from her marriage to dancer Jimmy Gulzar.

Just last month the two performers were spotted along with their children as they enjoyed a break at the exclusive Four Seasons Hotel in Maui, Hawaii.

LIFE STYLE EXTRA (UK) - Eddie Murphy has picked out his wedding invitations for his impending nuptials to Mel B.

The comic (http://www.lse.co.uk/ShowbizNews.asp?Code=YS105527L&headline=eddie_murphy_picks_invites#) actor sent his assistant to collect the first sample invite from bespoke embroidery shop, EmbroidMe, in Davie, Florida.

A source is quoted as saying: "It was a made of satin cloth with the letter M embroidered in the middle in golf (http://www.lse.co.uk/ShowbizNews.asp?Code=YS105527L&headline=eddie_murphy_picks_invites#) metallic thread.

"The girl said she had to send it to Eddie for approval, and if he liked it, she'd order 250 more."

The happy couple are rumoured to be tying the knot (http://www.lse.co.uk/ShowbizNews.asp?Code=YS105527L&headline=eddie_murphy_picks_invites#) later this month, and the former Spice Girl - real name Melanie Brown - is also said to be five months pregnant.

The singer was reportedly so excited about her happy news, that last month she gushed to staff at the exclusive Le Bra Lingerie boutique, in West Hollywood, that she could even be expecting twins.

A store spokesman, Andy Behrman, confirmed at the time: "Melanie Brown came in and was telling everybody she was four months gone.

"She said she suspects twins because they run in Eddie's family."

yeah right! if she was 5 months pregnant, she would know by now if it was twins. it wouldnt be just a 'she suspects' thing

it definately wouldn't be a suspecting thing, my mom looked full term at 5 months with twins.

If she's never been pregnant and she's four months along and hasn't had an u/s then it's totally possible she doesn't know for sure. There have been women who are on their third or fourth pregnancy and don't know they're having twins until the little ones pop out.

I would hope she has an u/s soon, though, so she knows for sure and just for the health of her and her child/ren.
