my dog has the most special place in my life. If you don't love him, then you don't love me. He is such a loving little soul, who listens to me when i talk (really, he does, his ears move up and down in understanding, lol) and he doesn't care where i've been all day, he only cares that i've come home. All throughout my bad times, he's been a constant, and i can truly say that i would be devastated if anything ever happened to him.
what does your pet mean to you?

I would be devastated if anything happened to Baileys. She is my confidant, friend, shadow and hotwater bottle lol.
If we hadnt had insurance when Baileys had cancer then i would have tried my best to find the thousands of pounds i would have needed to get her treatment. She is my baby!

We love them. All of them are rescues; Frodo had especially dramatic rescue and he's the definite "baby" right now.
I love having cats around - we didn't have them for a few years of our marriage and it's funny how much they (or any cuddlable pet) help one's frame of mind.

I love them. They make me laugh sometimes. Sometimes they're a comfort and other times they just sit with me when there's nothing to do except sit and contemplate. :)

Zarfy (guineapig) is so tame, when I go to see her she looks up at me as if to say "so, wheres the food?" She will eat out of peoples hands and she is the ultiamte sweet tooth. I couldn't even live without her for 2 days a few months ago and nothing has changed.

We do the same thing with our five cats. When we go to visit Chris and Chan, we tell the cats that we're going to see their brother and sister-in-law. When the in-laws come here, we refer to them as Grandma and Grandpa in front of the cats.
Each cat has his/her own personality so it really is like having five kids. Five kids who sleep 90% of the time, though!
